More than 1500 eager entrepreneurs, business representatives, and blockchain enthusiasts gathered in Berlin on June 1-2 for the Blockchain Expo Europe. The event included keynote speakers, panel discussions, and case studies that articulated the potential for blockchain technologies to revolutionize legal sectors, financial services, healthcare, insurance, energy, music, government, real estate and more.
Quanta’s Featured Speech
On the first day of the event, Quanta’s CRO Adam Vaziri, spoke to a full crowd about the revolutionary lottery with particular attention paid to the importance of compliancy. Vaziri explained how Quanta’s breakthrough Random Number Generator (RNG) makes it a truly unprecedented experience. He also explained how Quanta aims to take advantage of regulations to ensure trust and reliability. The Q&A period allowed him to respond to people’s’ concerns about privacy issues, accessibility and compliance. For example, when asked how the lottery will take into account tax laws, Adam explained that because laws differ across regions, each player is expected to know and follow local requirements. The audience was especially receptive to the speech because it avoided overly technical jargon and event organisers praised it as having an “exciting subject and clear explanation – great when those two things meet”.
Meeting Blockchain Enthusiasts
Representatives from Quanta also took part in the activities by presenting Quanta on the exhibition floor and engaging directly with curious individuals eager to learn more about the lottery and its underlying technologies. Guiding attendees through a demo of the beta version and showing videos of gameplay helped make Quanta move from concept to reality in the minds of guests. The team revealed that “having the opportunity to engage with the people who will soon be Quanta players is essential for making sure we cater to their needs and desires.” In addition to facilitating discussions with future users, the expo allowed the Quanta team to meet potential beta testers and partners for new development opportunities.
In many ways the event served as Quanta’s introduction to the world, and beyond offering others a chance to learn about Quanta, Berlin Blockchain Expo facilitated passionate discussions with important blockchain visionaries and early adopters. Quanta expects that the connections made at the conference will be valuable in the beta testing period, global launch and beyond. The excitement around blockchain is overwhelming, and Quanta was thrilled to be at the very center of it!
