Quanta is excited to announce that our IT Security Manager, Dr. Joseph Ikhalia (PhD in Computer Science) has been awarded, the Dean’s Award for Doctoral Research Innovation for his outstanding contribution in the field of cybersecurity from Brunel University London.
Joseph, designed and implemented an application that utilised a malware threat avoidance model. The social network application was designed to raise threat awareness and educate social network users in safe practice. Quanta has always been forward thinking and has well embraced the innovative idea of cyber security. Whether it’s the daily interaction with our social media posts or the participation in the Quanta Lottery, security has always been the utmost concern at Quanta. Thus, we always treasure talents like Joseph, who is willing to go to great efforts to create policies and procedures with the aim of protecting our customers.
