What is your evaluation of the Quanta business model as a use case of Blockchain technology?

How innovative is the Quanta platform for the lottery industry?

How innovative is the Quanta platform as blockchain use case?

What kind of risks, concerns do you foresee with Quanta’s business model?

There are three areas of risk, namely internet security, public perception and gaming industry response. First, as with any online business, security against hacking is always going to be a risk, so hardened multifactor security is important. Second, in addition to reducing administrative costs, it is important that Quanta fulfills public expectations of a lottery platform, particularly in terms of provision of winnings as well as charitable contribution. Third, as Quanta is a disruptive technology for traditional lottery, there will be some resistance or negative response from incumbent gaming industry operators. It would be good to engage the industry to mitigate such responses and enable innovation of their own operations. There are three areas of risk, namely internet security, public perception and gaming industry response. What kind of opportunities do you foresee with Quanta’s business model?

As the first commercially viable blockchain-based lottery protocol, Quanta has a significant opportunity to innovate the lottery industry as well as expand it to countries that have not offered it before or not been able to offer it. By using blockchain technology, Quanta will can reduce the administrative cost of lottery significantly for developing countries and also offer the public across borders more opportunity to win monetary prizes. I see greater, broader potential for Quanta as something like a white label solution for a multitude of jurisdictions rather than a standalone lottery.

Evaluation of Technology

Were you able to evaluate Randao’s RNG effectively?

Is the Randao RNG provably fair?

How well is Quanta’s smartcontract designed? (Based on the source code you have been able to read.
Otherwise, based on the information we have provided.)

What words come to mind when you look at the logo?

It is abstract but I think the logo is suitable for a white label solution. For a standalone lottery, the branding would need to be brighter and convey the message that an average person can win the lottery. For example, lucky symbols are often seen in lottery logos.

What suggestions for improvement do you have for this technology?

There are some UX issues particularly for users not experienced in using crypto wallets. Also when the custom ETH is sent to the Quanta, platform automatically buys lottery tickets based on how much ETH that the user sends. Shouldn’t the Quanta wallet hold tokens and then give users options to play lottery from Quanta GUI? The platform, as it currently looks, appears to be targeting experienced cryptocurrency or blockchain users rather than the wider market of common lottery players. For Quanta to appeal to the average lottery users, the user experience (UX) needs be as seamless and intuitive as Uber or AirBnB. That would require a more integrated platform including a cryptocurrency wallet where you could actually use fiat currency (perhaps with a third party wallet provider) so the actual process is more seamless

Evaluation of gamification

Does Quanta improve user engagement for lottery as a platform?

Will Quanta lottery draw attention from cryptocurrency users?

Will Quanta lottery draw attention from existing online lottery players?

How well is Quanta’s smartcontract designed? (Based on the source code you have been able to read.
Otherwise, based on the information we have provided.)

What kind of features should we add to improve gamification?

I believe that Quanta needs to have a more intuitive, integrated platform to improve user engagement, particularly for average lottery users. For cryptocurrency users, Quanta could offer more versatility in the lottery GUI, including options to load Quanta wallet and push button to buy tickets when a user wants within the Quanta platform.

Evaluation of UX

Was it easy to purchase tickets?

Was it easy to use Quanta wallet?

Was it easy to follow gaming rules?

Was the user interface intuitive (user friendly)?

Was the Quanta wallet intuitive (user friendly)?

Was the registration process intuitive (user friendly)?

Was the result of lottery easy to understand?

How well is Quanta’s smartcontract designed? (Based on the source code you have been able to read.
Otherwise, based on the information we have provided.)

What kind of improvements should we implement for better user experience?

As I indicated before, a more integrated platform – external crypto wallet and Quanta platform – with versatility in offerings and services on the platform would improve customer acquisition and user experience.

Your thought

Please provide us your overall thoughts on Quanta from your own expertise perspective.

To summarize, I believe that Quanta, as a commercially viable blockchain-based lottery protocol, has a major opportunity to innovate the lottery industry as well as expand it to countries that have not been able to offer it before. By using blockchain technology, Quanta can reduce the administrative cost of lottery significantly for developing countries, provide autonomous provably fair platform, and also offer the public across borders more opportunity to win financial prizes. I see greater potential for Quanta as something like a white label solution for a multitude of jurisdictions rather than a standalone lottery. There are three areas of risk that can be addressed, namely internet security, public perception and gaming industry response. On the front end, I believe that Quanta should work towards a integrated, intuitive platform for cryptocurrency users and traditional lottery users. That would include an almost seamless integration of external wallet & token purchase, loading of Quanta wallet and lottery ticket purchase otions inside the Quanta platform, as well as the RANDAO RNG demonstration.
