Harmen Brenninkmeijer


Harmen has a long-standing track record in regulated gaming sectors across emerging markets with a reputation for innovation, introducing unique products and adopting new technologies. He has worked in over 70 countries actively supplying gaming equipment, advising and developing the gaming industry.

Before taking the CEO position at Quanta, Harmen formed the Global Chain in 2016, as a vehicle to establish equity projects.

Prior to Global Chain, Harmen founded the Gaming Incubator which sourced and brought to market gaming products and platform innovations. He has also served as the SVP Strategic Markets for Inspired Gaming Group after he previously founded Octavian Global Technologies and turned that into a $90m public company within five years.During 1991-1997, he established Mikohn’s gaming divisions in Europe, Africa and Japan (covering Asia) into a changemaker. From 1993 to 1997 he was also the founding and inaugural Chairman of the European Gaming Organization elected unanimously for 4 years.

Jason Yee


Jason graduated with BCom and MBA degrees from the University of Toronto. Qualified as a CPA in Canada, USA and Hong Kong, Jason is a seasoned banker with over 25 years of working experience from large FIs including BNP Paribas, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley. Roles included controllership, regulatory reporting, taxation, cost management, financial reporting, performance and sales reporting, business transformation and as finance head across the Asian region. Other leadership initiatives included outsourcing, hubbing, digital transformation, kpi performance measures and restructuring both within the organization and via external strategic alliances to ensure viability of operations and profitability from a stakeholder’s perspective.

His hobbies include property investments and building or assisting in projects that are challenging, disruptive and scalable for mass adoption. And as blockchain and crypto enthusiast for nearly 5 years, Jason is thrilled to join his hobby full time and to make the Quanta project very successful.

Ian Sherrington


Ian is perhaps best known in the gaming industry for writing the code that ran the very first internet Sportsbook – – which came online in January 1996.

After the successful launch of, Ian expanded the website to incorporate a Microgaming online casino, payment providers Paypal and Neteller and the industry’s best known affiliate program. Ian was granted the very first UK online bookmaker’s license in 1998.

During 2003, Ian founded Mahjong Mania in Montreal, Canada. Mahjong Mania created the first aggregated cash-play Mahjong game and was successful in signing up many of the best known online casinos and software suppliers.

More recently, Ian has been involved with new blockchain technologies by developing the first Ethereum P2P Sportsbook for Betr.Bet and is now busy as Product Owner for the cutting-edge Quanta Blockchain Lottery.

John Kamara

SVP, Managing Director of Quanta Africa

John is an experienced marketing, business growth, and market acquisition executive, who has successfully delivered multi-million dollar global initiatives and projects on & offline for over 15 years, in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

He has over 10 years of international experience working in a multitude of industries globally including blockchain, AI, gaming, e-commerce, and fintech. He was the Chief Strategist of the team that introduced the Global Good project to the Nigerian government via the office of the Vice President and the Minister for Agriculture and Health.

He is also involved in various advisory roles with projects in Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, and Nigeria. In addition, he is also Director of Machine Intelligence Institute of Africa Crypto University and African Blockchain Association.

Stelios P Michaelides

Director and Chief Compliance Officer

A strategic thinking, internationally-minded and versatile Chief Financial Officer with over forty years managerial experience of ensuring optimal financial and business operations across extremely diverse geographies and sectors.

An adept leader with the ability to restructure internal operations and processes in order to improve a company’s revenue and reputation. Well-versed in managing stakeholder relationships, building support and loyalty in order to achieve shared goals and further business success.

Proactive in executing Change Management techniques, created innovative accounting and financial management systems from the ground up, creating processes that have stood the test of time and guiding companies across large-scale transitions with outstanding management skills needed to optimize and exceed performance expectations.

Able to work autonomously or lead remotely in order to make informed decisions necessary to implement company success. A proven track record of stellar financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, alongside a wealth of experience in building company awareness and reputation on a global scale.

Ioannis Papachristou

SVP, Managing Director of Isle of Man

Experienced in managing Operations and Projects, Ioannis is a dynamic and motivated professional, with a proven record of managing projects from concept to completion. He is skilled in building cross-functional teams, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and critical decision making.

Deji Enwezor

SVP, Managing Director of Quanta Nigeria

Mr. Deji Enwezor is an Executive leader and strategist within the Gaming industry; Online Lottery and Sports Betting with success developing, implementing, and managing game strategies designed to meet important and or challenging business needs. After spending some years in Online Day Trading on the US equities markets, he entered over a decade ago into the Nigerian gaming industry.

He spent a few years as a Sports Lotto Consultant for National Sports Lottery Plc and subsequent years in executive and operations in Lagtech Ltd, Adasi777 Ltd, Winlot Global Resources Ltd and Superior Games Ltd, and currently International Lottery & Gaming Ltd as it’s Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Deji Enwezor is a pioneer in the Nigerian Online Lottery, Sports Betting Industry focusing on retail, live racing, interactive gaming on Mobile Devices and eChannels. He has consulted through his professional career to include the Ghana National Lottery Authority, Africa Millions Jackpot, GTECH, Arsenal Lotto Nigeria, Skillrock Technology Ltd, and Lots Services Ghana Ltd.


Ali Hussein


Ali is the CEO of Kipochi, a Pan-African Fintech company that enables the financial ecosystem to utilize digital technologies towards enhancing efficiency, bring innovative financial solutions to the unbanked across the continent and create awareness towards the transformative nature of Financial Technologies.

Ali is a Co-Founder and Partner at Demo Ventures. DEMO Ventures is an early stage, smart capital fund, currently raising its inaugural fund, focused on digital innovation and digital transformation in selected sectors in Africa. We leverage our proprietary Pan African deal to catalyze investment into early stage, high growth potential startups in Africa.

He is also the Principal, AHK & Associates, a Digital Transformation Consultancy focused on enabling clients leverage Digital Technologies to achieve Transformational Change in their organizations. He is also an investor and mentor to startups the Demo Ventures Franchise.

Angel investor and mentor to various startups in the region spanning Fintech, Agritech, Edutech and Healthtech.

Ali was the founding CEO of Wunderman (Kenya), a Global Digital top ten Agency, CEO at 3mice interactive media, a pioneer digital agency in East Africa

Wynne Porbley


Wynne Porbley is a Ghanaian entrepreneur, retail stock trader, IT Professional, and a trainer. He has worked closely with a number of successful start-ups, and is a Director of four other private companies.

Daniella Kwayu


Daniella Kwayu is an Economist, Financial Analyst, Social Entrepreneur and a Youth Mentor.

Her career span over 6 years working with multinationals across sectors including Insurance,
Finance, Agriculture, Oil and Gas and Media. Her previous roles include; Account Executive
for AON Insurance, Analyst for the Agriculture and FMCG corporate clients for Stanbic Bank
and recently an Economics Advisor for Shell Exploration and Production Tanzania.

She is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Phema Agri; a Pan African AgriTech company
that leverages modern technology tools to de-risk agriculture value chains and provide
relevant financial support to small holder farmers.

Her passion is to empower farmers with access to finance, agriculture equipments, credit
profile, training and market linkages so as to build and ecosystem of Agriculture enterprises
across the continent.

She also founded and leads Ada Lab; An impact driven incubation platform that supports
tech driven solutions geared towards solving Africa’s social economic issues in 5 key pillars
including agriculture; health; energy; education and financial inclusion.

Daniella is an experienced analyst who uses her economics and financial education
background, combined with her passion to see Africa forge ahead sustainably to influence
the youth in Africa to become change agents, while motivating them to create wealth for
themselves and the continent at large.

A firm believer in the power and role of youth in unlocking Africa’s development challenges
and to catapult the continent to a new technology driven era, Daniella leverages her work,
networks and invests her resources to nurture, coach and support quality youth led ideas
that will create sustainable, scalable and impact driven solutions for the continent.

She holds a degree in International Business from SUNY Plattsburgh from New York and a
Masters in Economics with a concentration in Financial Economics from Carleton University
in Ottawa, Canada respectively.

Macdonald Wento


Macdonald is a successful international entrepreneur with over two decades of investment banking, trading, real estate and consultant providing insights and contacts to businesses to drive profitable growth. He is a multi-dimensional leader who moves easily across Presidential palaces, Corporate boardrooms and shop floors. He is an avid learner and able to speak Spanish, French, Italian, and English.

In 1996, Macdonald established Wedge Impex, a business engaged in import and export of general merchandise between Europe and Africa. Being drawn by the compelling opportunities in investment banking, he started a career in currency trading in 2002 working with Creative Finance in Zug, Switzerland. In Spain, he served as Executive Trader and subsequently became Director of Trade and Investment for Int’l Consultant Capital until 2004. Currently, he is a founder of four organizations including Liberia Wood Industry, International Consultant Capital, Geblo Logging Inc., and International Construction Enterprise. Also, he is the Chairman & CEO of NIMACKS, New Millennium Oil & Gas, and Liberia Tropical Wood Industry. Besides, he is a Secretary General of ADA Commercial Inc.

Macdonald has numerous significant achievements in his career. He was recognized as Liberian businessman of the decade (2006-2016). He also has been recognized for his charitable endeavors through the Macdonald Wento foundation which provides scholarships and mentorship to thousands of Liberian youths.
